Movember Ahead of the Game is a youth mental health program. It teaches players, parents, coaches, umpires and volunteers to understand mental health, build mental fitness and strengthen resilience. We created this content to be consumed and interacted with in real time, and spark raw conversations around mental health pressure points for young people. Director Annelise Hickey dug deep with first time actors to bring authenticity and relatability to the front. We kept our crew small to create an environment that wouldn’t overwhelm, and allow our talent to go through the plight of their character as freely as possible.
