I’m keen to explore masculinity through modern diasporic Polynesian characters and the expectations our characters have of one another. While Adam is a sassy queer man, still exploring his own gender identity, Mose is very much a ‘typical’ Polynesian boy who’s grown up in a traditional family unit. As the two brothers meet, Mose’ expectations of Adam are challenged. He’s not the brother he had imagined but Mose’s curiosity is piqued as he sees further into Adam’s life. "Stranger, Brother is currently being submitted to film festivals."
